Cybill Shepherd has been a film and TV staple since the late 1960s. She became a household name after starring in 1971's "The Last Picture Show" and has been a firm favorite ever since.
However, Shepherd has not been as active as before in recent years and is rarely seen in public. She changed all that last week when she stepped out to walk her dogs for the first time in a while.
The actress was seen on her walk in Los Angeles on Thursday morning wearing a casual outfit of jeans and sneakers with a fleece pullover to match. She also wore a beige sunhat and red-rimmed sunglasses. Fans were impressed.
One fan said it was "shocking how little she has changed." Another commented that she was "still so beautiful," and one more said she was a "classy lady" and an outstanding actress. One fan gushed: "She was quite a looker in her day. Still looks nice, but my lord, when she was young!"

While Cybill Shepherd looks happy and healthy now, she faced a health scare in 2002. Published reports said Shepherd had melanoma and, after the removal, was left disfigured. However, her spokesperson said it was a benign growth that had been safely removed and that Shepherd was okay.
Shepherd is a happy mother of three and a grandmother to two young children. She lives by the motto that one should always try to send out a message of love when they can.
