‘Just Precious’: Hoda Kotb Shares Photo of Daughters She Adopted after Thinking She Was ‘Too Late’ for Motherhood
"Today" co-anchor Hoda Kotb shared a photo of her adopted daughters after she thought it was "too late" for motherhood. Fans showered Kotb and her daughters with love and praise and said the daughters looked like "they were always" hers as they "mirror" her "spirit exactly."
Yesterday, iconic "Today" co-anchor Hoda Kotb, 59, took to Instagram and posted a photo of her beautiful daughters, Haley and Hope, whom she adopted. Kotb shared five images in a carousel dedicated to celebrating her good friend Jennifer Miller's birthday.
The images show pictures of Miller with her loved ones, which included Kotb and her sweet little girls. The first photo shows a precious moment shared between Miller, Kotb, and her daughters, all cuddled up on a couch as they smile at the camera.
Kotb's adorable daughters stole the show and had fans swooning over how "beautiful" they are. Fans also expressed their happiness concerning the close bond Kotb shares with her kids. One fan gushed, "Their bright spirits just shine...Looks like to me they were always yours since they mirror your spirit exactly!..." Another social media user praised Kotb and her girls and said, "Your littles are just precious ❤️."
Before Kotb became a doting mom to her two precious girls, there was a time when she was hesitant to express her desire to become a mother. According to the broadcaster, "I remember never saying out loud that I wanted kids, never, because it was too late."

Despite her initial fear and belief that too much time had passed in her life that made it impossible for her to embark on motherhood, Kotb recalled how she kept seeing signs that motherhood was, in fact, possible for her. After seeing a tragic moment in a war-torn location of a little boy who was covered in dirt and rubble, all by himself and clearly in need of help, Kotb then realized, "Maybe there's a kid who needs me..."

The 59-year-old then decided to embark on the adoption journey and filled out the necessary paperwork. One day, while sitting in her office, she received a text from an agent at her adoption agency which signaled she would become a mother.
Kotb's life was forever changed at 11:55 on that fateful day when she became a first-time mom to her firstborn daughter, and since then, she has doted on and loved her daughters like the devoted mother she is.
