"Keeping things short & sweet," she captioned her post. Fans and social media users alike couldn't help but share their thoughts in the comments section.
"You look incredible," one person said, while another found motivation to have their hair cut. "I think I'm gonna go shorter, too," the person wrote. Another Instagram user commented, "We are going to have fun with this hair."
Meanwhile, a few others highlighted Hough's dress, which she wore to the 75th Creative Arts Emmys, that featured a rod with sharp ends at the top. "That dress can totally double as a weapon!" a person wrote.
Interestingly, Hough, who previously sported long blonde wavy locks, documented her haircut a few inches below her shoulder. However, only days later, she debuted an even shorter hairstyle.
In a 2015 interview, Hough delved into her evolving fashion and hairstyles, discussing insights from earlier years. One of her comments focused on a 2007 headshot, where she had voluminous, curly white locks. Although that look is far from her "DWTS" branding, it became her father's favorite.
She also highlighted a 2013 hairstyle from her project, "Safe Haven," where she had hair above the shoulders. As years passed, Julianne Hough's hair transformation has captivated fans and onlookers. She often documents her changing style on Instagram through pictures that reflect her personal life and career.
