As previously reported on September 7, 2023:
Rock singer, songwriter, and guitarist Bruce Springsteen announced that his shows for September would be postponed due to his health issues. The announcement was shared on Instagram.
The announcement stated that Springsteen was dealing with symptoms of peptic ulcer disease and was told by his medical advisors not to put his body through too much strain.
The singer also expressed how disappointed he was to delay his shows. "Over here on E Street, we're heartbroken to have to postpone these shows," he expressed. But he thanked his fans for understanding and their continuous support.
In the comment section, fans wished Springsteen a speedy recovery, but one commenter said they suspected the singer might have been experiencing health issues.
"I was in care when I saw your last photos. Your lips were bluish. It's now a sign your body is sending to you," said the commenter as they continued to advise the rocker to take it easy and not rush to get back on stage.
Many more fans sent their well wishes to the "Dancing in the Dark" singer. "Feel better, Bruce! We will pray for you," added another netizen. Springsteen's supporters even assured him they would still be there when he finally got better and urged him to take it easy. "Oh no! I wish him to return strength and wellness," wrote another fan.
But this was not the first time Springsteen had to pull out of his shows because of his health issues. However, he has always kept his promise to give his fans a show to remember.
Bruce Springsteen's Previous Health Issues
When Springsteen announced that he would be back on the road with the E Street Band, fans were ecstatic since the singer had undergone serious throat surgery a few years back.

The "Glory Days" singer had been open about some of his health issues, like his long battle with depression and unusual physical illnesses like chronic numbness on the left side of his body.
One of the worrying things that happened to the singer, which had the potential of affecting his career, was the damaged disks in his neck. They required a "nerve-racking" surgery that would involve tying his vocal cords and exposing his throat.

Nevertheless, he was fortunate to have everything go well for him, even though he was not allowed to sing for three months. Springsteen assured fans he still had time to continue doing what he loved. There was no information on what might have caused the numbness the singer experienced, but it was believed that he might have suffered what is referred to as a "pinched nerve."
This is usually accompanied by pain that runs through the shoulder and arm and causes weakness of the muscles, which happens when the nerves in the neck are irritated. Springsteen has survived many health scares, and we wish him a full recovery and for his loyal fans to still enjoy watching him perform his music live.
