The 93-year-old actor and director attended a speaking event hosted by renowned conservationist and primatologist Dr. Jane Goodall. The event took place at the Sunset Cultural Center in Carmel-by-the-Sea, weeks before Eastwood's 94th birthday.

Eastwood was dressed in a blue checkered flannel shirt, gray slacks, and sneakers, and according to a news outlet, he was accompanied by an assistant.

Despite showing signs of aging with his bushy white beard and hair, Eastwood moved through the event with relative ease. At one point, the "Dirty Harry" talent got up on the stage without any assistance.

The $95-ticket event, titled Reasons for Hope, was part of Dr. Goodall’s 90th birthday tour. Eastwood, showing his support for the cause, sat front row and later joined the conservationist backstage at a reception for VIP guests.

Eastwood might be 93 but he has no plans to slow down where his career is concerned. He directed and acted in his latest film, the 2021 "Cry Macho," and reflected on his age and legacy, saying, "I don't look like I did at 20, so what? That just means there are more interesting guys you can play."

In 2019, when appearing on "The Ellen Degeneres Show," Eastwood recalled how as a kid, he would hang out with his 90-year-old grandfather and often wondered to himself who would want to live that long. Ellen hilariously replied, "Turns out you do," amid a burst of laughter from the crowd.

The nonagenarian, despite his age, is still working. He told Ellen DeGeneres that even as a looming fire consumed the hill near his office and everyone else had been evacuated, he still went in and continued working, never once intending to stop.

While working on his projects, the dedicated actor has met many of his fans on his off days, enjoying a meal and the local restaurants. One that he filmed and eventually ate at with his crew was La Scala, where Hugley was ecstatic to see him walk in.

The photo that Hugley shared with Eastwood warmed a lot of fan's hearts. "Priceless photo," gushed a commenter, and another one praised him for being a "living legend" and one of the "all-time greatest" actors.

Although fans have loved seeing Eastwood back in action, they have also been worried that the actor looked "frail with old age" but still hoped he lived till he was a hundred.

Others also worried about "The Mule" star's health, and whether it still allowed him to work at this rate. Fans of Eastwood would also love for someone to invent technology to reverse his age so the world does not lose the legend.
