Martin, 47, is in India with his band, Coldplay, as part of their sold-out Music of the Spheres World Tour, which features multiple shows in the country. The couple's appearance marked a rare moment in the spotlight, as they tend to keep their relationship out of public view.
In photos of the outing, Martin wore a casual gray long-sleeved shirt, black pants, white sneakers, and a black graphic baseball cap. Johnson, 35, matched his casual style in a fitted black tank midi dress, black sneakers, and a similar cap.
She completed her look with a gray sweater tied around her waist, waving to the camera at one point. Social media users quickly noticed the pictures and began sharing their reactions across various platforms.

The couple's trip to India also included a cultural highlight. According to footage shared on Instagram, the pair were seen participating in a religious ceremony at Babulnath Temple, an ancient Hindu place of worship in Mumbai, ahead of Coldplay's concerts in the country.
For the ceremony, the "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress wore a printed cotton suit and respectfully covered her head with a scarf. Martin also embraced the traditional attire, opting for a pastel blue kurta and accessorizing with a Rudraksha bead necklace.
Johnson and Martin have been romantically linked since 2017. Despite maintaining a low profile, their relationship has been a topic of much speculation over the years.
In December 2020, Johnson was seen wearing a large emerald ring, which sparked engagement rumors. Sources later confirmed that it was indeed an engagement ring, although the couple remained silent on the matter.

A source close to the star pair revealed in March 2024, "They got engaged years ago but were in no rush to get married." The same source added that their relationship has had its ups and downs over the years.
The actress's father, Don Johnson, addressed the engagement rumors during a 2020 appearance on "Good Day New York." When asked about the couple's plans, he said, "Oh god. I don't think much further than about the next seven or eight seconds. But listen, if she's happy, I will be happy, and he's a lovely guy."

Martin and Johnson were first linked after being spotted at a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles in 2017. They later made their first public appearance as a couple at Stella McCartney's Autumn 2018 Collection.
By 2021, the pair had moved into a shared home in Malibu. That same year, Johnson told Elle magazine, "We've been together for quite a while, and we go out sometimes, but we both work so much that it's nice to be at home and be cozy and private."

Their relationship appears to have the support of Martin's ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he shares two children, Apple, 19, and Moses, 17. During an October 2022 Q&A on Instagram, Paltrow described Dakota as "an adorable, wonderful person" and said, "I love her so much. We're actually very good friends."

The couple's bond has also been evident in candid moments, such as when Martin briefly appeared during Johnson's Sundance Film Festival Zoom event in 2022 to fix her technical issues. Despite their typically private nature, glimpses like these continue to fascinate fans and keep their relationship in the public eye.

Surprisingly, this isn't the first time fans have discussed Johnson's appearance. A few years back, they seemingly reminisced about the "Persuasion" alum's trademark gap tooth, which disappeared in 2019.
In an episode of "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," the Hollywood star explained that she had a permanent retainer since she was 13. "It was just glued to the back of my teeth," Johnson shared.

She revealed that the retainer was removed to address her back problems, and the gap eventually closed on its own. "I was really sad about it too," Johnson admitted, responding to the internet's strong reaction at the time. The moment sparked a wave of online conversations, with many fans expressing nostalgia for her once-distinctive look.
Known for her down-to-earth persona, Johnson has also opened up about her beauty routines and self-care philosophies. In a 2017 interview with Glamour, she described her minimal makeup routine and obsession with eye drops, humorously referring to herself as "addicted" to them.

When discussing body confidence, Johnson reflected on her intense ballet training for her role in "Suspiria," revealing how hard work transformed her abilities. However, she candidly admitted to having a few tattoos she regrets and making impulsive beauty decisions, such as cutting her bangs after months of growing them out.
