Kieran Culkin and Wife Jazz Charton Expecting Baby No. 3 After His Memorable Emmys Plea
Kieran Culkin and his wife, Jazz Charton, are preparing to welcome a new addition to their growing family. The news comes not long after a bold onstage moment that had fans talking.
On September 28, 2025, Kieran Culkin was spotted on an outing with his pregnant wife, Jazz Charton. In the photos, the proud father of two was seen beaming as he placed his hand on Charton's growing belly.

At the time, the couple was attending the opening night of "Waiting for Godot" at the Hudson Theatre in New York City. However, their plans to grow their family was made public twice.

In January 2024, Culkin won the Emmy for Best Actor in a Drama Series for his portrayal of Roman Roy in "Succession." During his acceptance speech, he said, "And Jazz: I want more. You said maybe if I win."
While speaking backstage in the press room, he explained the backstory for his comment. The star revealed that he asked his wife for more children until she eventually told him they could try for another if he won the Emmy.

The star noted, "So she spent the whole week being nervous, and instead of talking to her in private like a human, I just blasted her onstage, which was very rude."
Despite acknowledging that it was "rude" of him to put her on the spot before, during his March 2025 Oscar acceptance speech, he, once again, recalled the agreement they'd made about having more children.

Culkin began his speech by expressing his gratitude "for absolutely everything" and "for giving me my favorite people in the world." He then recounted how, while standing onstage at the 2024 Emmys, he "very stupidly" shared his wish for a third child, referencing the promise Charton had made if he won.
He jokingly remarked that his wife made the bet thinking he wouldn't win. After the ceremony, as they walked to their car with the Oscar, Charton turned to him and said, "God, I did say that. I guess I owe you a third kid."

The actor responded by confessing that he actually wanted four children, and Charton replied, "I will give you four when you win an Oscar." They shook hands to seal the deal, and Culkin revealed that he hadn't mentioned it again until that very moment during his speech.

His wife was seen laughing as she recalled the exchange. The actor concluded, "I just have this to say to you, Jazz, love of my life, ye of little faith. No pressure. I love you, I'm really sorry I did this again, and let's get cracking on those kids."
Netizens had mixed reactions to the actor's revelation. One fan wrote, "I actually think it's adorable that Kieran Culkin used his speech to flirt with his wife [sic] and we should all just mind our own business."
However, another person criticized the moment, stating, "he [sic] drew it out for so long just to bully her publicly into bearing a child while she repeatedly shook her head 'no'...we did not love to see it."

In March 2025, Charton celebrated her husband's first Oscar win by sharing a post on Instagram. The carousel featured photos and videos of the pair posing on the red carpet, including one of them kissing as they celebrated Culkin's achievement.

The final image in the post showed Culkin's Oscar for Actor in a Supporting Role in "A Real Pain" lying on a sheet. The caption touched on their third pregnancy and referenced the deal she had made with her husband.
Charton wrote, "AN OSCAR?!!!! Okay okay hear me out - making empty baby pacts may seem foolish but it's clearly been a great motivator. [sic]" She added, "Would he have come this far if I hadn't kept promising him more kids if he won awards?..... Probably. But who's to say?...HUGE thank you to our amazing team."
The couple's pregnancy wasn't the only milestone they celebrated in 2025. On September 22, 2025, Charton uploaded an Instagram photo of her husband kissing her hand, revealing it was their anniversary. She captioned the post, "14 years with this guy. Horrifically long ♥️."
For Father's Day in 2024, fans got a glimpse of the couple's two children, Kinsey Sioux and Wilder Wolf. All three images were taken outdoors and showed the actor bonding with his kids.
Culkin met his London-born wife in 2012 at a New York bar while she was working in the music department of an ad agency. Recalling their first conversation, he shared, "I said, 'I'm Kieran. You have an English accent. What's your name?'"
Charton told him her name, and he replied, "'J-A-Z-Z, like the music?' And she said, 'Yeah.' And I said, 'Well, that's [expletive] stupid.'" She laughed, and by 2013, the pair was married.

In 2021, the couple and their firstborn were living in a one-bedroom apartment in the East Village that Culkin had called home for two decades. However, they were planning to relocate to a more spacious place in Brooklyn.
The actor noted that it felt like "moving out of the country because it's not Manhattan."
The couple welcomed their second child, a son, in August 2021.
