The ageless beauty turned heads in a sleek, body-hugging dark denim dress, accentuated by visible stitched panels and a square neckline that showed off her toned arms. Her long, glossy black hair flowed down her back like a silk curtain, while nude heels, gold rings, and subtle dangling earrings completed the effortlessly powerful look.

Thornton Goes Rock 'n' Roll – Then Wraps His Arms Around Moore

Also turning up the heat was her co-star Billy Bob Thornton, who brought his signature edge to the carpet. The actor arrived in a sleeveless black T-shirt, paired with faded jeans and tan suede boots.

With visible tattoos, including the name "Bella" on his upper arm, and a worn black baseball cap, Thornton's look was unapologetically rock 'n' roll — the opposite of polished Hollywood.

But then — the moment that sent the internet into overdrive. As cameras flashed, Thornton slid his arms around Moore from behind. The two laughed, beamed, and stood shoulder to shoulder, grinning like teenagers on prom night.

Real-Life Romance... Or Just Perfect Promo?

While the red carpet affection stunned fans, insiders were quick to point out that the pair's magnetic chemistry may not be just for show — it may be a calculated echo of their evolving on-screen relationship.

Moore and Thornton star together in Taylor Sheridan's oil-industry thriller, "Landman," which returns to Paramount+ on November 16. Set deep in West Texas, the drama dives into a world of ruthless ambition, deadly secrets, and corporate power plays — and this season, the stakes are even higher.

Thornton reprises his role as Tommy Norris, the grizzled oilman who took over M-Tex operations following the death of Monty Miller (played by Jon Hamm in Season 1). With a new title, a new empire, and a storm of enemies, Tommy's future is anything but secure. Moore, meanwhile, is stepping into her most formidable role yet.

Moore's Character Goes from Trophy Wife to Powerhouse

Moore's character, Cami Miller, was once in the shadows. But following her husband's death, she now takes center stage at M-Tex — and she's no one's ornament.

Though a rival dismissively calls her a "trophy wife," Tommy quickly sets the record straight. "I run the company. She owns it," he snaps. "If you wanna fight about it, lawyer up, big boy. Let's go."

Cami's ambition only grows bolder as she pushes back against Tommy's plans to sell. "I want success," she demands. "Get it for me." But it's her dark warnings that hint at the explosive secrets ahead. "I just pray that you don't find something that makes the life you lived a lie."

Old Ghosts, New Tensions – And a Cartel Wild Card

As Season 2 unravels, Tommy's world begins to fracture under pressure — from all sides. His relationship with Angela (Ali Larter) is on thin ice. His nephew Cooper (Jacob Lofland) continues making risky, impulsive decisions.

And then there's Tommy's father, played by the legendary Sam Elliott, who appears for the first time in the new season with a biting line, "You take a long, hard look at me. I wasted 60 years on hope."

And let's not forget cartel boss Gallino (Andy Garcia), who saved Tommy from a kidnapping in Season 1. Though absent from the new trailer, his shadow still looms large.

The official synopsis makes one thing clear. "In season 2, as oil rises from the earth, so do secrets — and Tommy Norris's breaking point may be closer than he realizes… Survival in West Texas isn't noble — it's brutal. And sooner or later something's got to break."

From Second Fiddle to Queenmaker

The show's creators are backing Moore's rise to power. Co-creator Christian Wallace told TVLine, "Demi's character in this first season was kind of playing a little bit of second fiddle to Monty. Now she's stepping into a bigger role."

And Thornton himself shared his character's complicated mindset with The Hollywood Reporter: "He probably doesn't want to [run the company], but he knows he has to… He does not want to put the suit on, but he knows he's got to."

Thornton's past with Angelina Jolie Adds Intrigue to This New On-Screen Spark

The red-hot public moment with Moore comes in sharp contrast to Thornton's typically guarded private life — a detail not lost on longtime fans.

In a 2018 Golden Globes interview, Thornton reflected on his wildly public marriage to Jolie. "That was a great time. Angie is still a friend of mine and she's a great person... She makes movies that are important to her whether they succeed or fail... I'll always respect her for that."

He added with blunt honesty, "We just had different lifestyles. Hers is a global lifestyle and mine is an agoraphobic lifestyle."

Which begs the question: Is Demi Moore's world one he's ready to step into — both on and off screen?
