The country star, who is currently on the rise, explained how his new marital status is helping him with his own parenting skills.
According to Rare Country, the award-winning country singer explained how love and life with Gwen Stefani, along with her three children, impacted his life.
During an interview with People Magazine, he admitted to that it was a little hard at first to figure out how their relationship would go.
He said that for a long time, it was awkward trying to figure out what his place was in the house, and in their mind too.
Most people knew that instinct was there, as Blake is really heartwarming and compassionate with his little fans while in public.
The 41-year-old singer explained that his new life has thought him how to deal with children in a new way, claiming that it changed him.
“The best part for me, selfishly, is discovering a part of myself that I guess I never really knew was in there. It’s definitely an instinct that kind of kicks in," he said.
He got really emotional while talking about Stefani's three sons with Gavin Rossdale, 11-year-old Kingston, 9-year-old Zuma, and 3-year-old Apollo
According to People, there’s no possible shortage of energy with the three boys running around at home, and although Blake says he can keep up, things are not always easy.
“There are days where you go, ‘Oh my god, when does school start?' An hour later you’re going, ‘God, I can’t wait ‘til they get home,’” he claimed.
Blake will appear on Gwen’s first-ever holiday special, “You Make It Feel Like Christmas,” which will air on December 12, 2018, on CBS.
