Robert Pattinson reportedly has new mystery girlfriend amid recent Katy Perry romance rumors
The actor is allegedly forming a special closeless with a rising singer after his recent dalliance with Katy Perry and while still pining for his ex fiance.
He broke up with his fiancé FKA Twigs six months ago and seemed to be on a dating spree with the loudest buzz recently linking him to singer Katy Perry. But while that mash-up is reportedly on hold, the latest rumor is now associating him with a new name and face, rising Swedish-British singer, Mabel McVey.
Word is out that the ‘Twilight’ star is heating things up with the Spanish born beauty as they were spotted “practically inseparable” during London Fashion Week, according to the Inquisitr. As source for Mirror UK also disclosed,
“Rob looked smitten with Mabel and they spent two nights glued to each other. They were practically inseparable at the Vogue party at Annabel’s, and again the following night at a Miu Miu fashion party where Rob was trying to be really low key. Their friendship has blossomed from there.”
22-year-old Mabel is reportedly nine years younger than Robert and has been recently deemed “a style star to watch” by Vogue Magazine due to her unique music style.
But despite her lure and her apparent new closeness to the Hollywood actor, a source revealed that Robert is actually still feeling nostalgic about his ex, FKA, and may still be keeping a soft spot for her.
The source confirmed the 31-year-old actor still loves his former fiance and he was recently reminded of that when her latest Apple commercial directed by Spike Jonze was released. The source said,
“He loves her very much still and seeing this commercial reminds him of how amazing she is. He sees her talent, he sees her smile and watching it makes him happy since it such a time warp for him. It takes him back to when they were in a better place. It shows the best of everything about her.”
Things may be iffy when it comes to matters the heart for Robert, but that can’t be said about his career. Following his critically acclaimed performance in ‘Good Time’ with Rotten Tomatoes describing his work as “consistently stellar” and “one of the year’s finest,” the actor is poised to do greater things with six movie projects lined up for him. Three of these namely, ‘The King,’ ‘High Life,’ and ‘The Lighthouse’ are now currently in pre-production.
