Meghan Markle's father, 73, was spotted enjoying a date with a much younger mystery woman

Meghan Markle's dad was spotted enjoying pizza with a mystery woman and a child just weeks before his daughter's royal wedding.

Thomas Markle, 73, was spotted dining with an unknown woman at a restaurant near his Mexican home.

Friends suggested that this mystery woman might just be his plus-one to his daughter's wedding with Prince Harry on May 19.

"He has been enjoying the company of his friend and has had the smile put back on his face. He's been a complete gentleman."

Using his red Ford Escape, Markle picked up the woman and the child as he drove them to a local mall. The trio then walked towards Peter Piper Pizza and enjoyed their meals together.

Before taking the young child to the pizzeria's small arcade area, Mr. Markle could be seen drinking a Heineken at one point during their meal. They took a while at the arcade, with Thomas winning several toys for the young child at the end of their stay.

The gentleman that he is, he then paid for their dinner before they headed back out.

Markle moved to Mexico after being declared bankrupt a while back. He worked as a lighting director in the past.

As his daughter Meghan is set to marry Prince Harry, he hopes to walk his daughter down the aisle.
