Russell Simmons, 60, shares sweet pic of grown up daughter revealing problems in their relationship

- Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee’s daughter, Ming Lee and Aoki Lee are no longer those cute babies who used to walk in the runaway with their mom, and the two ladies have grown into two different types of girls.

- While Ming Lee loves the attention and the spotlight and is pursuing a modeling career, Aoki prefers to stay away from the public and is focusing on her school and sports team.

AmoMama was lurking around Russell’s Instagram account and we stumbled with a funny call out post the former fashion mogul did for his youngest daughter, Aoki Lee, and even though it was made in a good and joking nature, he revealed some troubles within their relationship on the post.

Simmons and Lee met when the model was just 17-years-old, and they were married for about 11 years, time in which they conceived two beautiful girls, Ming, 18, and Aoki, 16, who were pushed into the spotlight since they were just toddlers.

While Ming Lee loved the attention and now has followed her mother’s steps into the modeling industry, Aoki has chosen the opposite path, staying away from the cameras and focusing on school, volleyball, and causes that are close to her heart.

Aoki has proven through her Instagram account that she’s a smart cookie that’s very opinionated, articulated and open-minded, making her parents proud thanks to her views about the world and the way in which she portrays herself on social media.

The 16-years-old is often pretty serious when it comes to her social media, but she also enjoys teasing her older sister with sly comments about her photos and her ‘craving for attention and likes on the internet.’

The siblings are always bickering jokingly on the internet, and their dad recently joined in the fun by making a callout post for his youngest daughter; and even though the post has a joking tone, by reading it you can tell that there are some hard truths revealed in the text.

Russell and Kimora are known for keeping a friendship even after their divorce, and since they share the girls’ custody, they can come and go from mom to dad and vice-versa whenever they feel like it.

So, when Russell revealed that his daughter Aoki has not paid a visit to him in a while, some fans took pity on the man.

He wrote in the caption of his post:

‘Throwback @aokileesimmons don’t be upset and don’t beat me up on social media. I invited u on Snapchat And u never responded!! And by the way, ur bedroom at my/ our house hasn’t been slept in in months !!! Excuse me weeks. Still, I’m coming over to moms and your house today for old-fashioned whipping !!! So don’t front on Instagram about being left out #loveyou don’t play me I’m not @mingleesimmons’

It seems like Aoki has been so busy with school projects and being part of the volleyball team that she hasn’t had time to visit her dad.

Luckily, Russell seems to be a very lighthearted man, and he decided to go visit at her home instead, even though that may imply an encounter with his ex-wife’s current husband.

We can tell how much Simmons loves his daughters, and we hope that even though the girls are growing up and becoming ‘cooler,’ they can still appreciate their parents as long as they have them.
