Nicole Scherzinger will reportedly no longer be a part of the upcoming season of 'The X Factor'

AmoMama brings you juicy details of Nicole Scherzinger’s leaving The X-Factor as reported by Pop Culture. The report which went live on April 1 was thought to be a bad joke at first.

Nicole Scherzinger, 39, will not be coming back to The X-Factor. The former Pussy Cat Doll is being let go to make way for new blood that will hopefully attract a younger audience. The show is reportedly losing viewership and the only way to salvage it is by bringing in a judge that can appeal to millennial viewers.

According to The Sun, show producer and fellow judge Simon Cowell does not think of a better way to invigorate the ratings that by making these drastic changes. Judges Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh are reportedly not safe either, but they have been contracted to be on the show this year for its 15th season. The publication says that Walsh is likely to lose his place to either pop singer Craig David or One Direction alum Louis Tomlinson

Scherzinger has been a judge on the show since 2012 and was a passionate judge, according to a Pop insider.

“Louis and Sharon are both contracted to return this year, but Simon and the producers have lost faith. They were both terrible on the panel last year. Louis has had a great run, but he's advertising hearing aids for God's sake. It's beyond a joke. Nicole was a passionate judge but has no contract and won't be back this year in order to bring in fresh blood."

Walsh is a hearing aid spokesman for Specsavers while Osborne has engagements with The Talk, and so they are both likely to be let go to focus on those other plans. There was already talk of alum Cheryl Cole making a comeback after initially taking a break to be a mother, and so she could be the replacement. Apparently, judges are in the dark about their contracts until the filming month ends and Scherzinger had already started question Simon’s decision. She is reportedly told the publication that "Simon is so f—ing last minute we know in the same month that he announces it. We'll see what happens."
