Melissa McCarthy, 47, shares a new photo of herself with a much slimmer figure

Melissa McCarthy has been garnering a lot of attention lately and AmoMama seeks to find out what the noise is all about. This 2nd April report by The Inquisitr gives us a glimpse into the new lighter life of the comedian.

47-year-old actress, comedian, writer, fashion designer, and producer, Melissa McCarthy, is best known for her acting and making people laugh. However, the focus is shifting as the world becomes accustomed to her new shrunken face. The comedian has been on a weight loss journey for a while now, but most people had not noticed drastic changes as the loss was gradual. Now her face is much slimmer and everyone is asking how she did it.

Frankly, McCarthy’s journey has been publicly traveled. As part of her show, she recently took her viewers behind the scenes of Nobodies Season 2 so that they could see what it takes to bring them the show. She captioned her photo; “Nobodies Season Two begins tonight. Ladies and Gentleman, start your rebirthing tanks.” Even with her unflattering costume, the actress still manages to show her slimmer figure and much smaller waistline.

Nobodies, an America comedy, was so well received that the cast started filming season two almost as season one ended. McCarthy, whose career didn’t pick so much until about a decade ago, started the year with a bang. Apart from the comedy series, she has another comedy film, Life of the Party coming up soon. Clearly, she has a busy year ahead.

McCarthy started talking about weight loss several months ago, and then she let her Instagram followers know that she was on a Ketogenic diet – High fat, moderate protein and moderate carbs. She has been following this diet keenly for a while now and the results are evident. She is as happy as she always looks too, and we believe her new self will continue entertaining us.
