Melissa McCarthy flaunts stunning figure after massive weight loss
The 47-year-old actress is shrinking and appears to be half her size.
On March 30, 2018, Melissa McCarthy posted a behind-the-scenes snap of Nobodies Season 2 on Instagram. In the image, the Ghostbusters star is seen floating in a pool with two of her co-stars, as reported by Inquisitr.
McCarthy's suit may be unflattering because of the five pieces of pool noodle wrapping around her body, but she still managed to showcase her slimmer figure and tiny waist.
'Nobodies Season Two begins tonight. Ladies and Gentleman, start your rebirthing tanks,' she captioned the snap.
Nobodies is an American comedy television series that was created by Hugh Davidson, Larry Dorf, and Rachel Ramras. On March 29, 2017, the series premiered on TV Land.
The series was moved to Paramount Network, starting with the second season which premiered on March 29, 2018.
Recently, McCarthy also promoted her upcoming comedy film, Life of the Party. She posted a short clip on Instagram where she was seen dancing with six other companions.
McCarthy has been open about her decision to eat healthier. She has lost a significant amount of weight over the past year.
In a 2015 interview with Life & Style, McCarthy revealed that she was able to shed pounds after she quit dwelling over her size.
"I truly stopped worrying about it. I think there's something to kinda loosening up and not being so nervous and rigid about it that, bizarrely, has worked," she said.
Melissa began appearing in television and films in the late 1990s. She rose to fame for her role as Sookie St. James on the television series, Gilmore Girls (2000–2007).
On October 8, 2005, Melissa tied the knot with Ben. The couple shares two daughters, Vivian and Georgette.
Melissa, who is the cousin of actress, model, and television host Jenny McCarthy, founded the production company, On the Day, with her husband, in 2013.
Last February 4 and 11, 2017, Melissa made surprise appearances on Saturday Night Live where she portrayed White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer.
