Catherine Zeta-Jones daughter, Carys, is a 14-year-old young lady, and she has grown up to have a striking resemblance to her famous mother, according to a report from Closer Weekly.

The source reported that young Carys showed everyone that 'the apple doesn't fall far from the tree' when she made an appearance alongside her mother at a New York City event on Sunday, April 8, 2018.

The event organized for the Alta Moda women's couture at the NY Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center was simply buzzing with the presence of these two amazing ladies - both of whom stunned the onlookers by dressing up in black.

The 48-year-old actress donned a see-through lace dress with a corset at the center of the garment stealing the highlight. She matched her dress with metallic heels as she flaunted her perfectly toned figure.

Carys, on the other hand, sported a contrast wardrobe from her mother. She opted for a pair of black pants with shoulder-less pink, white, and red floral shirt. She matched it with a pair of elegant-looking black strappy sandals.

Catherine is proud of her daughter and has previously gone on record talking about her "good morals and good judgment."

In an interview with E! News, the proud mother stated, "Yeah, well she's pretty individual, very strong young lady and that I think is what I admire about her more than anything."

She also stated that it was unpredictable how a 14-year-old was going to turn out but Carys had definitely shown so far that she is "strong and smart."

In another interview, Closer Weekly quoted Carys as agreeing to the possibility of her getting into modeling just like her famous mother.

"Yeah, I love fashion," she revealed. "This is my first show so I'll see what happens, but I definitely see it in my future, I just don't know about right now."
