Bride & groom expect DJ to play a special song. They never hoped for famous superstar to show up
The unexpected wedding guests surprised the newlywed couple.
As reported by Faith Tap, Brandon and Sara tied the knot on June 28, 2017. The couple wasn't expecting the gift that Tammy, one of their friends, gave them.
Brandon and Sara had their wedding reception at the Sugar Island Barn, in Osh Kosh, Wisconsin. They were supposed to have their first dance as husband and wife to the sound of Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts.
Sara's sister is the only other person who knew about Tammy's surprise for the newlywed.
The plan was for the hired DJ to play the song but when the time came, the bride's sister stepped up on stage.
"I'm not musically inclined at all, so we needed a little extra help for this surprise for you guys. So with a little help, I'll hand it off to them," she announced.
Brandon and Sara immediately identified the members of their favorite band, Rascal Flatts, as soon as the barn doors opened and they walked in.
The couple was so overjoyed during that time. They didn't expect that Tammy had an extra surprise in store for them.
"One of the best things was that they said they were going to be praying for us. Because obviously marriage isn't an easy thing, it's kinda difficult," Sarah said, adding that they will also pray for them.
Rascal Flatts had their musical instruments with them and they were ready to play the couple's song live in front of everyone, according to the source.
The lyrics of the song Bless The Broken Road described Brandon and Sara's love story perfectly.
As it turned out, months before the big day, Tammy knew that Rascal Flatts would be in town. She decided to wrote them a letter, hoping that they would consider showing up to Brandon and Sara's wedding.
Due to the band's popularity, Tammy didn't get her hopes up but she tried anyway. Luckily, her effort was rewarded and she was able to give her friends one of the best wedding gifts ever.
