Many fans noticed that the Fixer Upper star looked slimmer, happy and fit.

The Magnolia account on Instagram posted a photo of Chip Gaines recently, as reported by Pop Culture.

In the image, the 43-year-old host is seen giving a celebratory fist pump.

Chip will run his first marathon on May 6, 2018. He told Runner’s World that "running is a mental game." He added that he lost 10 pounds.

"I’ve learned that if I can convince myself to just keep putting one foot in front of the other, then I can run as far as I want to," the author continued.

Chip and Joanna Gaines, who have been married for more than 14 years, are hosting the event in their hometown of Waco, Texas.

Chip made an announcement earlier this year that he would be winning the marathon with the support of his family.

He said that his children's encouragement is helping him to hold himself accountable.

“It’s about making a commitment and sticking to it no matter what,” Chip said. “And trust me, that 'no matter what' part is a real kick in the pants…especially at five o’clock in the morning.”

The stars of the HGTV show Fixer Upper are expecting their fifth child together later this year. They already share four children, Drake, Ella, Duke, and Emmie Kay.

The loved-up pair announced Joanna's pregnancy in January 2018. They even posted a snap of the mother-to-be’s growing baby bump.

On March 7, 2018, Chip accidentally let it slip that they were expecting another boy, Pop Culture reported.

On his personal Twitter account, he wrote: 'Alright, alright … if we’re going to announce the gender of our #5th child. It might as well come from my new friend #Gage! Take it away my man.'

Chip and Joanna tied the knot in the Earle Harrison House in Waco, Texas on May 31, 2003.
