Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton thrills fans with an unexpected performance together
Scheduled or not, the couple got on stage together to perform in front of the surprised audience.
During the Academy of Country Music Awards ceremony, Blake Shelton took to Twitter to invite all his followers to a free concert at the House of Blues in Las Vegas after the ACMs.
In his message, Shelton set clear two things: the show would be free and some of his ‘friends’ would join him. According to People, his fellow The Voice coach, Kelly Clarkson, and his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, got on stage.
Even though Clarkson’s presence was important, the highlight of the night was Stefani’s presentation. Her performance started at around 1:30 a.m. and she sang a couple of her most famous songs, including Hollaback Girl.
When everybody thought her presentation was over, Shelton got on stage and asked her to sing Hella Good. After thinking about it for a few seconds, she agreed to do it but with one condition: he had to sing with her.
The band began playing again and the couple, clearly excited, were dancing and singing to her song. Shelton sang only the chorus while jokingly danced for Stefani.
Since they are dating for a long time, it is normal for people to ask them about marriage, and both of them have shared their thoughts on it in different interviews. Shelton did it while talking to CMT’s Cody Alan.
He confessed that he thinks about it and pointed out it will not be anytime soon. He added that the more time goes by, the closer he would be getting to that.
Stefani did the same during an interview she had with Ellen DeGeneres on her show. The host asked her if the rumors about them planning to get married were true and Stefani opted to change the topic asking DeGeneres for advice.
After admitting that her three sons love Shelton, Stefani revealed that she thinks about marriage ‘all the time.’
