'NCIS' star Pauley Perrette filmed her last-ever scene on the show (photos)
The 49-year-old actress, who has been a part of NCIS for fifteen years, shared photos after filming her last-ever scene on the hit TV series.
Perrette gained recognition for her role as Abby Sciuto on the U.S. TV show. Her portrayal of the smart and quirky forensic scientist won her a lot of fans.
Unfortunately, the fans will not see her on the show after the episode on May 8, 2018, as the actress decided to leave the series.
Perrette posted photos of herself with co-stars Sean Murray, Brian Dietzen, Emily Wickersham, and Wilmer Valderrama on her personal social media account. The images were taken on the set of the last episode, as reported by Pop Culture.
In the caption, Perrette, who has made appearances in several films, including The Ring and Almost Famous, confirmed that she had just shot her last scene of the series with her co-stars.
She also shared that Sciuto’s departure would be covered in two episodes, airing May 1 and May 8.
Perrette added that she had put in a lot of hard work into her final appearance. She also hoped that all the viewers would watch and enjoy the episodes.
Fans were upset when it was announced last November that Perrette had chosen to quit after the ongoing 15th season. She clearly stated that leaving the show was a call she made by herself in 2016.
To debunk all the rumors surrounding her exit, she also clarified that she was not coming up with a skincare brand nor was she leaving because of any alleged differences with the crew.
Producers George Schneck and Frank Cardea had enough time to write and film a special send-off for the beloved character.
They had previously commended Perrette’s passion for her job and helped in shaping Sciuto’s personality as an inspiring one.
