With the arrival of the newest Prince, it is still little Charlotte who steals the spotlight
Several photographers and paparazzi got together in front of the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital on April 23 to take photos of the royal family and the new baby.
One of the funniest moments captured by the media took place when William walked in with his two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who were visiting their mother and sibling.
According to Metro, William was smiling as usual while holding his two children by their hands. George was shy and didn’t do much to capture the cameras’ attention. Charlotte, on the other hand, was the highlight of that moment.
She waved at the cameras twice – once a couple of steps after they got out of their car and the second time while she was walking up the steps.
A huge smile was on her face, which set clear that she is ready to deal with the public attention. She was wearing a floral blue gown, a cardigan, white socks, and black shoes.
George, who had just been picked up from school, was wearing a navy and red uniform and black shoes. So far, the name of the baby has not been revealed as the tradition suggest that the members of the royal family are the first ones to know it.
Kensington Palace, the entity in charge of announcing such information, pointed out that the baby’s name will be revealed in ‘due course.’ There are a couple of names that people have suggested, and the most popular one seems to be Arthur.
What Kensington Palace did reveal was that William was present during the birth of the baby and that both he and Kate were ‘doing well.’ The little prince was delivered at 11:01 a.m. and weighed 8 pounds 7 ounces.
Prime Minister Theresa May took her time to congratulate the Royal couple wishing them ‘great happiness for the future.’ At the moment, the world is eager to know what name William and Kate will choose for the new Prince of Cambridge.
