'Mayans MC' world premiere date revealed

People who were original fans of Sons of Anarchy are aware that there’s a spin-off coming called Mayans MC. A trailer was released of the new show and fans are excited.

The world premiere of the show is set to be previewed on June 8, 2018. Already some details about the upcoming series are available for those who wish to know more according to Deadline.

Series creator, Kurt Sutter, is responsible for making the spin-off of Sons of Anarchy. Fans will have to wait a while as the Mayans MC premiere is not set until the fall

The sneak peek will be on June 8 at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas. Mayans MC is reportedly “set in a post-Jax Teller world."

The storyline follows a new recruit named EZ Reyes (Revolution's JD Pardo). In the series, he pledges to the Mayans motorcycle club.

Reyes is forced to create a new outlaw identity for himself. This is after he was a "golden boy who had the American Dream within his grasp."

Other star’s that will be featured on the show are Clayton Cardenas, Angel Rivera, Edward James Olmos, Sarah Bolger, and Richard Cabral. Fans can expect to also see Michael Irby, Raoul Trujillo, Antonio Jaramillo, Carla Baratta, and Gino Vento.

Vento will appear in a recurring role where he will be playing a character named Nester. His character will be a devoutly loyal childhood friend of Miguel Galindo (Danny Pino).

Nester will be Galindo's very intimidating head of security that will stop at nothing to enforce his boss' orders. Tony Plana will join the cast as a character named Devante.

He will be a well-versed consigliore who happens to know the old ways of the Galindo Cartel. His job will be to protect the legacy of the Galindo family.

Sons of Anarchy fans got a first glimpse of the spin-off in late January 2018. This was when FX released a video promoting all of their original series that were set to air in 2018.

In that short teaser, fans heard the mysterious line, “If the Mayans want a future, we gotta choose a new side.” This gives the suggestion that a new era will be in store for both the MC and Reyes families.

The first official trailer for the series was released on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. In the 25-second long trailer, a desert road is shown with Paint It Black by the Rolling Stones playing in the background.

Ten members of the Mayans Motorcycle Club are seen riding by. Mayan MC’s first season will consist of 10 episodes.
