Jessica Alba shares family photo with 4-month-old son speaking on joys of motherhood

In light of Mother’s Day, actress Jessica Alba shared an adorable photo of her family which includes her 4-month-old son as she gushes over motherhood.

With everyone celebrating their mothers on the prestigious Mother’s Day, Jessica Alba took the opportunity to extol the joys of motherhood which she’s felt.

Ahead of the big day, Jessica took to her Instagram page to share a lovely photo of herself and her kids including the latest addition, Hayes, 4-months-old.

In the photo, Jessica was seen planting a big kiss on her son Hayes, while her two daughters Haven and Honor watched on with smiles on their faces.

Alba was clad in a simple grey-colored dress underneath a white wool sweater jacket, with comfortable white flat soles. The 37-year-old entrepreneur was all smiles as she kissed baby Hayes while carrying him.

Her oldest daughter Honor looked smitten by her younger brother as she stared on at him while Haven blushed innocently at the camera.

In the caption of the post, the owner of a multi-billion company named Honest, compiled a lengthy message about the joys of motherhood. It read,

‘Motherhood: it’s a doozy, isn’t it? Your world gets completely turned upside down. Everything you thought you knew about what was important is no longer. And all the things you once took for granted- like sleep, and sitting down to eat an actual meal - become the greatest luxuries.'

She continued,

‘Little people change you. To love and need someone that much and have them love and need you just as much… it’s the best and hardest and most heartbreaking there is. I still can’t believe it, but my oldest baby is almost 10 years old. And you know what? She doesn’t need me in the same ways she once did. There goes that heartbreak again... but it’s true.’

She concluded saying,

‘This Mother’s Day (and, really every day), I want to thank you for trusting us to be a part of your journey. And I want to let you know that even if it doesn’t always feel like this. It’s not gonna be perfect. But you’re an amazing mama. And that’s everything. Xo’
