Laura Govan shares rare vid with daughter after accusations of having love child with Vince

Laura Govan was a baller before becoming a reality star, and one of her daughters is already following her steps, as shown in a recent video. Govan faced some serious accusations from Tamar Braxton last year when the singer alleged that Laura was pregnant with Vince Herbert’s child.

AmoMama was lurking around Laura Govan’s Instagram account to see what the former reality star has been up to, and we were surprised to found out that the mother of four is currently coaching her 12-years-old daughter on basketball.

Govan was once married to NBA player Gilbert Arenas, and they have for kids together.

Izela, who will be turning 13-years-old this year, carries the talent and the passion for the game in her DNA, and it seems like her mother is ready to make a star out of her.

She recently shared a video showing off hers and her daughter’s dribbling skills, as the duo practiced while looking relaxed as if it was part of their nature to handle the basketball like that.

Laura wrote in her caption:

As a teenager, Govan also played basketball, and she was so good at it that she earned a scholarship to New Mexico State University, later getting a B.A. in International Business and a Masters in Sports Psychology.

Last year, Laura saw herself involved in a scandal when R&B star Tamar Braxton dragged her into her divorce drama with Vincent Herbert.

After revealing on social media that her soon-to-be ex-husband was expecting a child with another woman, she hinted at Govan being said woman.

Laura kept her silence at first, opting for deactivating her comment section on Instagram to avoid the hateful comments from Tamar’s fans, but she later spoke to TMZ to clear things up.

She said that she was never involved with Vincent, and in fact was in a happy relationship with someone else.

Laura also revealed that the rumor that reached Tamar’s ears was started by Gilbert, who has been allegedly trying to damage her reputation since their bitter divorce and child support battle.

Tamar later revealed that Vince was not expecting a kid with another woman, stating that it was all a rumor she heard from some ‘friends.’

We’re glad that the situation was cleared, even though Braxton never apologized to Laura for calling her a ‘wh**e’ publicly.

Govan seems to have moved on and she’s clearly focusing on coaching her teenage talented daughter so she can become a great basketball player like her mother was once.
