All the beautiful moments from Meghan Markle, Prince Harry's wedding day
There’s still a huge buzz about the Royal wedding this past weekend. The event had some truly remarkable moments as it progressed.
One of the memorable occurrences was when people first got to see Duchess Meghan’s wedding dress. ET Online reported on all the moments that stood out on the day.
Things at the Royal wedding began about three hours before Meghan and Harry entered St. George's Chapel in Windsor. A number of celebrities were seen making their way to the venue.
1. Meghan’s arrival:
Meghan arrived at the venue in a Rolls-Royce with her mother, Doria Ragland. Fans could see a glimpse of her dress and the tiara that was on loan from Queen Elizabeth.
2. Celebrities arrival:
Meghan and Prince Harry invited 600 lucky guests who would watch them exchange vows. Some of these people were celebrities like the former Suits actress’ co-stars which included Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, and Abigail Spencer.
Other famous people who were in attendance were Oprah Winfrey, Amal and George Clooney, Serena Williams, David and Victoria Beckham, Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford, Elton John, and Tom Hardy.

3. Meghan’s dress:
Fans were thrilled when Meghan appeared in a timeless gown by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy. It featured an open bateau neckline, a sculpted waist, and three-quarter sleeves.
4. The Martin Luther King sermon:
Reverend Michael Curry of Chicago, Illinois, changed things up at the traditional ceremony. He quoted Martin Luther King, Jr. saying, "We must discover the power of love, the redemptive power of love, and when we do that, we will make of this old world, a new world."
5. The Kingdom choir:
After the couple exchanged their vows, Karen Gibson and The Kingdom Choir began a rendition of Ben E. King's Stand by Me. The song was performed by a predominantly black choir and stood out among the other hymns performed during the ceremony.
It appeared to symbolize a new era for the Royal Family.
6. Harry honoring Princess Diana:
During Meghan and Harry’s departure from the church after the ceremony, it was revealed that Harry was involved in picking out his bride's bouquet. One of the flowers included in it was Forget-Me-Nots which were a tribute to his late mother, Princess Diana.
7. Carriage ride:
The newly-wed couple got into a horse-drawn carriage where they displayed their love to the thousands of adoring fans. The last venue for the day was Frogmore where they had their reception until the a.m. hours of Sunday.
