Chicken breast is a popular choice of protein for many. It fits into all diets thanks to its nutritious value.

However, it runs the risk of becoming boring at times and needs to be improvised. It is overcooked, it can become dry, chewy and lifeless.

Here are three simple chicken breast recipes that can be whipped up with easy and need very little time.

From friend to golden brown deliciousness to a healthy baking alternative, these dishes can be part of the dinner or can accompany everyone’s conversations.

Recipe 1

The ingredients required are:

250 g chicken breast

salt pepper to taste

1 egg

½ cup cornstarch

Oil

3 cloves of garlic

¼ cup chili sauce

¼ cup water

¼ cup honey

Preparation

First cut the chicken into strips and season with salt, pepper, egg, and cornstarch. Heat oil in a deep pot and add the chicken pieces. Fry them until they turn golden.

For the sweet chili sauce, add oil, chopped garlic, chili sauce, water, and honey to a skillet. Cook the mixture until it becomes sticky.

After adding the chicken pieces to the pan, toss them to coat evenly.

Recipe 2

250 g chicken breast

3 cloves of garlic

1 tablespoon five spice powder

salt pepper to taste

1 tablespoon chili

3 cup cornflakes

1 cup flour

2 eggs

1/3 cup milk

Preparation

Start with cutting the chicken into ½ inch thick slices and then season them with chopped garlic, five spice powder, salt, pepper, and chili powder.

Pour breakfast cereal into a large bowl and crush it. Make a mixture of flour, cereal, and egg wash (egg and milk mixture).

Sprinkle the mixture on the chicken pieces and fry until golden.

Recipe 3

250 g chicken breast

1 cup ham

½ cup green garlic

1 bok choy

¼ cup ginger

salt pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

¼ cup soy sauce

Preparation

Slice and chop ham, green garlic, bok choy, and ginger into thin strips and season with salt, pepper, and olive oil.

Next, slice chicken breast into ½ inch thick slices. Season the pieces with salt, pepper, soy sauce, and olive oil.

Place a slice of chicken breast down on parchment paper. Top with a small handful of vegetables and finish with another slice of chicken on top.

Fold over the parchment paper to form an envelope-like parcel and bake it at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.

Chicken breast can be mixed with pasta, salad. With simple preparations and sauces, the boring but nutritious food can be taken to a whole new level.
