Boris Kodjoe dances with wife in golden mini dress on 13th wedding anniversary

Actor Boris Kodjoe, famous for his roles as Kelby in the 2002 film “Brown Sugar” and Damon Carter in the drama series “Soul Food”, is not only extremely attractive, but a real romantic at heart. He celebrated his 13th wedding anniversary to Nicole Ari Parker by sharing a video clip of them dancing together.

Celebritist learned from “Instagram” that it was the heartwarming words the 45-year-old actor used to caption the clip that made fans swoon. Boris’ love for Nicole is undeniable and she’s certainly blessed to be married to such a romantic man.

Boris and 47-year-old Nicole met on the set of the drama series “Soul Food”. They co-starred as love interests before Boris’ character was written out of the storyline. However, the two started dating in real life and got married on May 21, 2005. They share two children: Daughter Sophie and son Nicolas.

In 2015 the couple created and hosted a talk show, aptly named “The Boris & Nicole Show”. The show only ran for a four-week test run. During a 2015 interview with “The Breakfast Club Power 105.1”, Nicole and Boris promoted the show and opened up about their personal life.

Boris admitted that he and Nicole were learning to communicate with each other every day. The actor says men need to be more present and learn how to listen. However, when it comes to parenting, he says women need to realize that their husbands became parents the exact moment they did.

“Women have to understand that we became parents the exact same second. Because they sometimes treat us we like don’t know: 'This is how you’ve got to do it. This is how you’ve got to feed them'.”

Nicole agreed with her husband, stating that each person has their own parenting style. It’s clear that this couple accept that things aren’t always perfect, but work at their relationship each and every day.
