'Ugly Betty' star America Ferrera gave birth to a baby boy and shared his first photo

America Ferrera posted a photo of her newborn’s feet, revealing that the baby boy was named Sebastian Piers Williams.

Ugly Betty star America Ferrera took to social media on May 29 to share the big news with her fans and followers. Posting a picture of her infant’s feet, Ferrera announced that her family of 2 had finally become that of three.

The proud mother also revealed the name of the baby boy – Sebastian piers Williams. Sebastian is the first child of Ferrera and her husband Ryan Piers Williams, who have been married for 7 years.

The new mother decided on a nickname for her son – Baz. She also informed her online fans that she, her husband and baby Sebastian were in good health and great spirits.

Ferrera’s friends from Hollywood including Reese Witherspoon and Amber Tamblyn shared congratulatory messages on the online post.

Tamblyn was also seen alongside Ferrera in a post shared on April 30, in which the duo was seen having a blast with a mutual friend, actress Tamara.

The photo was taken at the baby shower that Ferrera’s friends had thrown for her, and it featured a unique party prop designed by artist Samantha Nye.

Nye had gifted Ferrera a prop shaped like the female birth organ, and Ferrera and her friends were seen role-playing the process of giving birth.

Ferrera also had another special baby shower celebration with her Ugly Betty family in March.

The actress and her husband had broken the news of expecting a child back in January this year. In a post on the first day of 2018, the couple announced that they were welcoming one more face to kiss into their family.

Williams and Ferrera tied the knot in 2011 in an intimate setting, with only close friends and family members on their guest list. The duo had fallen in love while working together on a student film at the University of Southern California.
