The Duke of Wales walked down the memory lane as he delivered a moving speech in the honor of Harry and Markle's union.

As the world was engrossed in the grandeur of the royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, a few selected guests had an opportunity to be moved by an emotional speech from Prince Charles.

As reported by People, during the lunchtime gathering hosted by Queen Elizabeth II at St. George's Hall, Prince Charles addressed the union of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and delivered a heartfelt speech.

In the speech, Charles expressed how proud he was of his son, Prince Harry, who had grown in a great man with brilliant future ahead of him.

The Duke of Wales also walked down the memory lane as he revealed how he still remembered changing his 'darling old Harry's' Diapers and bottle feeding him.

Charles also addressed Markle and announced that he was pleased by the fact that she asked him to walk her down the aisle.

People reported that Meghan's father, Thomas Markle Sr., was initially expected to walk her daughter down the aisle. However, since he could not attend the wedding due to health issues, Markle requested Charles to do the honor.

Markle Sr. suffered a heart attack only a week before the Royal Wedding and was feeling constant chest pains. HIs doctors advised him against showing up at the royal ceremony.

Previously, Kensington Palace took to Twitter to announce that Markle Sr. was replaced by Prince Charles to walk Markle down the aisle.

'Ms. Meghan Markle has asked His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales to accompany her down the aisle of the Quire of St. George's Chapel on her Wedding Day,' the statement from the Palace posted on Twitter read.

Charles has previously walked a bride down the aisle on one occasion. He walked Alexandra Knatchbull, a close family friend, on the day she married Thomas Hooper, People informed.
