Princess Eugenie took to Instagram to share a never-before-seen photo of herself enjoying with her family.

The sweet snap shows the family on board the HMS Cottesmore. Princess Eugenie captioned the post of herself, Princess Beatrice, Prince Andrew, and Sarah Ferguson, “90s flashback”, as reported by Daily Mail.

In the sweet family picture, the two sisters are wearing matching white dresses embroidered around the waist with "HMS Cottesmore," the name of a patrol vessel in the British Royal Navy.

Eugenie and her sister sit on their parents' laps and all four are smiling widely for the cameras. The picture was taken at some point between April 1993 and November 1994, when Andrew was commander of the Royal Navy vessel.

Princess Eugenie's post has received a number of positive comments from her followers. The majority agreed that it was a great family photo.

The Royals are not allowed to have personal Instagram accounts but Princess Eugenie seems to be an exception to the rule.

While Meghan Markle deleted her Instagram upon her engagement to Prince Harry, Princess Eugenie launched her Instagram account last March. She is now the only British royal to have social media.

She has only posted 19 pictures on her Instagram account, but she now has over 166k followers, and there’s much speculation as to why she's the only member of the British royal family to have an account.

Although Eugenie works full-time, being an associate art director of a contemporary art gallery, she doesn't fulfill royal engagements in an official capacity, so she is not a 'working' royal.

Much like her great-aunt, the Queen’s sister Princess Margaret, Eugenie is far enough away from the throne to be able to do her own thing that is why she is not bound by the same protocol as Meghan.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are set to get married later in the year. The second royal wedding of 2018 will be held on Friday, October 12 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. Read more: @amomama_usa
