Erica Campbell shares picture of her mom killing it in tight black dress

The gospel singer gives her fans a glimpse of her relationship with her mother, just days before she launches her latest reality TV show.

Erica Campbell is gearing up for the upcoming premiere of her brand new family show ‘We’re the Campbells’ and what better way to celebrate her latest show than to share a moment with an important member of her family, her mother Honey Atkins.

The gospel singer recently posted a sweet photo where she and her beautiful mother are caught in a tight embrace and it was a confirmation of the special bond they both have. Erica was glowing in a gray form-fitting dress with long puffy sleeves while her mother showcased her curves in a black and white printed skirt matched with a black top. The mother and daughter smiled for the camera as they held on closely to each other for the precious photo the 46-year-old simply captioned “Me and my mommy” with a heart emoji.

June 19 marks the premiere of Erica’s new TV One reality show ‘We’re the Campbells’ where she’ll be joined by her husband Warryn Campbell, their children and their extended family. According to Erica in an article by The Christian Post, the nine-episode documentary series will feature the life of the famous Gospel entertainment couple as they nurture their marriage, raise their children Warryn, Zaya and Krista, and manage their music, church as well as their careers.

Erica also reveals the show will be something the whole family will enjoy.

"Not only is it answering life questions, cultural questions but it gives them something to do together."

She added,

"TV does not show a good reflection of marriage and relationship. We hope to counter that, kids growing up and teaching them life lessons and going through the tough stuff. We want them to understand that all things are possible to them that believe. We have to be a reflection of that to show people to love family and be bold about their faith in a loving, fruitful way, in the way of Jesus."

Apart from her new show, Erica is also busy with her role as the first lady of their family’s church. She’s also currently working on her new book promoting her hair extension and wig collection.
