Kelly Ripa shares rare photo of daughter Lola at prom

Television host Kelly Ripa posted the almost-17-year-old Lola’s picture and also shared some of the prom night rules she had to follow.

Live! With Kelly and Ryan star Kelly Ripa has never shied away from sharing snippets from her family members’ lives with her online fans and followers.

The most recent such update involved her only daughter Lola. Posting an adorable photo of Lola posing with a young male friend, Ripa announced that her teen was ready to attend prom night.

Lola, who turns 17 next week, looked beautiful in a lavender satin gown with a thigh-deep slit on the side. The full-length dress featured spaghetti straps and accentuated Lola’s toned physique.

The star child completed her glamorous look with a pair of high-heeled strappy sandals and a delicate necklace with a diamond pendant.

Lola wore a corsage of white roses around her left wrist, matching the one her prom date wore on his suit. Her dark tresses were neatly gelled straight and left open on the special day.

Ripa’s daughter wrapped her hand around her friend, who looked dapper in a classic 3-piece suit and a bowtie.

The adolescent boy sported a trimmed stub and mustache and toned the classiness of the ensemble up a notch with a pair of shiny black formal shoes.

The young couple posed in front of a fountain with hands around each other’s hips, sporting a blushing smile.

Lola’s proud mother was evidently excited about her daughter crossing a major milestone in her youth. Besides posting a social media update, Ripa also spoke up about her daughter’s big day on her show.

Ripa revealed that Lola was asked to follow specific rules on prom night, including a curfew. She added how remarkable her daughter was as a person, and also stated that her date was a good child with great parents.
