Jackson Odell was an actor and singer-songwriter who was found dead last week. It’s been reported that no foul play was suspected in his death.

On Sunday, his family released a statement on Twitter confirming his passing. The statement was said to be the only one that the family would release about their loss.

As part of their communication, the Odell family wrote in their message that Jackson Odell, 20, had so much more to share. ‘Our wish is that the rest of the world who knew and loved him does so as well,’ the statement continued.

They added that they were trying to make sense of their loss. They concluded their message by saying they wouldn’t be making further announcements at this time.

On Friday morning, Odell was found unresponsive in his home in the San Fernando Valley. The actor was said to have been staying in a sober living home.

Police said that there were "no signs of foul play" in his passing. Odell was best known for playing Ari Caldwell on The Goldbergs.
