Joanna Gaines shares special baby shower pictures with fans

Reality TV personality and soon-to-be mother-of-five, Joanna Gaines, loves books. Her friends knew this and used it as a theme for her fifth baby shower.

She shared a sneak peek with her 7.6 million Instagram fans and joked in the caption that '[she] likes big books and [she] cannot lie,' a clever wordplay on Sir Mix-A-Lot's song, Baby Got Back.

She also added the hashtag, 'baby got books.' The day was perfect, apart from the fact that she couldn't take the large decorative books back to the farm.

'Blown away by the creativity and thoughtfulness of my friends- just the cutest book shower ever for baby Gaines! Feelin' the love.'

Her husband of fifteen years, Chip Gaines, announced the pregnancy in back in January by leaving hints on his Twitter account.

He said that Johnny Swim was in Waco, Texas for a concert sometime in 2017 and 'they put on a little too romantic of a concert.'

Chip added that 'one thing lead to another and we are officially pregnant.' He was looking forward to baby number 5, adding that 'seven is the perfect number.'

The Gaines' fan base share in their joy. An Instagram user, Michelle Kach, said it is never too early to start reading to a baby, and sent best wishes to the entire family.

Julie Westgate Grant wanted to know if the couple had decided on a name yet, while Chrissy Duffy said Joanna is a 'genuine and gorgeous woman inside and out.'

She added that her family enjoys following the Gaines' adventures and wished them all the best for the future. Megan Wurzelbacher simply said: 'You are the cutest!'

According to People, the couple met seventeen years ago. Joanna was still working for her father. The pair exchanged vows two years later.

Their first child was born in 2005. They also share 11-year-old Ella, 9-year-old Duke, and 8-year-old Emmie Kay. Baby number 5 is expected to arrive sometime in June or July 2018.
