The actor turns into a completely different person from his tough on-screen persona when he speaks about the two most important people in his life: His children.

Jason Momoa has two children with his wife, Lisa Bonet. 10-year-old daughter Lola Iolani and 8-year-old Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha. Momoa is also a stepfather to Bonet's daughter from her marriage to Lenny Kravitz.

When the actor speaks about his children, it's clear he loves them very much. He generally keeps them fairly far away from his social media, but made an exception recently while driving with his daughter in the back seat of the car.

Momoa took to Instagram to share a shot of the beautiful little girl, who was curled up in a blanket with her head back against the seat sleeping. She appeared to be completely peaceful, with waves crashing in the background of the vehicle.

"LOLA I’m sooooooooooo in love. Aloha j," Momoa captioned the shot with a bunch of emoticons.

Before he had his children, Momoa believes he was pretty reckless, and doing anything he wanted to without a care in the world. Now, he takes care of himself better because he wants to be around for them.

He hopes that they have nothing but a wonderful life, and hopes to surround them with beautiful art and music, sharing that he already feels they are far smarter and better than him.

Momoa and Bonet first met in 2004 in Los Angeles in a jazz club. There wasn't an immediate spark, but Bonet offered to give him a ride home that night.

On the way, they stopped at a cafe and started talking. And the rest, as they say, is history.

The couple have been together ever since that night, but only officially tied the knot - in secret - in December 2017.
