'Project Runway' winner split with boyfriend after two years of marriage

Christian Siriano and Brad Walsh ended their marriage after about two years. Welsh took to Instagram to make the announcement.

To let the public hear from him first, Welsh broke the heartbreaking news on his Instagram Story that he and his fashion designer husband are now separated.

The 36-year-old musician wanted his fans to learn about the split from him directly instead of hearing the news from the media.

He wrote, ‘Bit more than a month ago my husband and I separated. I was contacted by a writer for a website who somehow found out, so rather than let them break it, I’m telling you myself.’

He added that it should not be anybody’s business and that he didn’t want to discuss things further.

32-year-old Siriano, who had won the Project Runway during the fourth season, is yet to address the issue and make a statement.

Siriano and Walsh tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony at their home in Connecticut in July 2016.

At the time, it had been three years since they revealed their engagement.

To mix things up and stray away from tradition, the couple both donned in dashing black suits while their guests were asked to wear white.

Stars who came to their wedding included Kelly Osbourne and America’s Next Top Model star Jay Manuel.

Even though Siriano’s Instagram page mainly contains photos of his work, he managed to greet his former partner during Valentine’s Day with a wacky photo from their intimate wedding.

‘We get to smile, laugh and love. Happy #valentinesday,’ he wrote on the caption.

In February, Walsh showed his support for Siriano during his 10th-anniversary fashion show. He stood alongside the designer together with stars like Whoopi Goldberg, Cardi B, Molly Shannon, Laverne Cox, and Meg Ryan.
