Almost 20 years after “Sister, Sister” aired its last season, Jackeé Harry and her on-screen daughters, Tia and Tamera Mowry, still have a close relationship. The star recently reunited with Tamera at her surprise 40th birthday party, months after confirming there’s a reboot of the series on the works.

Tia and Tamera Mowry have been in the industry for almost three decades, but the twins first stole the hearts of fans with their work in the ‘90s sitcom “Sister, Sister,” where they gave life to separated at birth twins for six seasons.

In the series, Jackeé Harry gave life to Lisa Landry, Tia’s character’s adoptive mom. In real life, the actress created a deep bond with the then-teenager girls, and to this day, they’re still as close as they were back then.

Harry confirmed earlier this year that a reboot of the series is in the works during an appearance on Steve Harvey’s show, “Yeah, it's happening. I'm excited,” said the 61-years-old. “Tia and Tamera are my babies! They won't leave me alone. I can't get rid of none of these women!”

In November last year, Tamera revealed to US Weekly that the twins have been in conversations to make the show happen for a while now, “My sister and I are taking meetings as we speak, so it's definitely closer than ever to making this reboot happen. We are being told that they want it to be or happen next year in the fall. So, it's going by so fast, everything,” said the mom of two.

The past weekend, Tamera’s husband, Adam Housley, surprise the star with an early birthday celebration at their home in Napa, California. The Fox News correspondent invited several of Tamera’s friends along, including her co-hosts of “The Real,” Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon and Jeannie Mai, her brother Tahj, and Jackeé Harry.

The celebration, which took place at the Reynolds Family Winery, was the perfect opportunity for the stars’ reunion, and Jackeé shared a beautiful photo on her Instagram to share the moment with fans.

“I had such a great time celebrating @tameramowrytwo’s 40th! Can you believe these girls are all grown up?” wrote the veteran actress. In the photo, Tamera is wearing a red dress and Jackeé a black sequins blouse with a black cardigan on top.

Both women look happy about their reunion, and we can’t wait to know more about the “Sister, Sister” reboot. We hope the whole original cast can make it.
