The couple revealed the exciting news on Instagram with the help of LeToya’s stepdaughter Madison. The next day, the singer showcased her growing baby bump in a video her brother shared.
On Wednesday, the 37-year-old mom-to-be posted an adorable video of Madison announcing the good news.
"Hi, my name is Madison Walker and I know something you don’t know! I think I’ll give you a hint. I’m going to sing you a song. Daddy and Ms. Toya sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G. Eww! First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby!"
The next day, it was LeToya’s brother Gavin who debuted her baby bump. While hanging around at a 24-Hour Fitness in Texas, Gavin showcased the pregnant star clowning around wearing a tight striped dress that emphasized her tiny bump. Gavin was proud of the fact that he was becoming an uncle and noted that in his caption.
“Look who pulled up on me + 1 #proudbroand uncle”
LeToya and Tommicus are excited over their upcoming bundle of joy and are hoping for a healthy child. Speaking to Essence, LeToya gushed over her blessing and provided details regarding the baby’s gender and its reveal.
“We are over the moon and overjoyed by this news. We feel so blessed that God has gifted us with the gift of life. We will be revealing the gender on the fourth of July. This is a straight up blessing, just a blessing. So keep us in your prayers. It doesn’t matter if it’s a girl or boy. We just wanted to have a healthy baby.”
A gender reveal party is reportedly being planned complete with a fireworks show.
LeToya married Tommicus in December after announcing their engagement in August. As she awaits the arrival of her new child, it’s a blessing she already has a stepdaughter who’s giving her enough practice on being a mother.
