Tia Mowry warms hearts with photo of husband taking care of of newborn daughter
Actress and TV host Tia Mowry, best known for Sister, Sister, took to Instagram to share a photo of her daughter held by husband, Cory Hardrict.
The image, uploaded on June 9, represents the first picture showing Cory taking care of his baby daughter since she was born on May 5, 2018.
The cute photo portrayed Cory wearing a grey shirt and dark pants standing by a pool while holding little Cairo. The baby was wearing a white and yellow onesie, and Cory was feeding her.
For the caption, the actress made sure to show her love by adding only the heart emoji. As soon as she uploaded the photo, fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts.
One of them was Instagram user Melanie Walker, who admitted it was a beautiful picture and that there was no such thing as a father and his little girl.
User Sandra Ochoa chimed in and said that it was a cute image as it was a ‘daddy and daughter pic.’ She congratulated Cory and Tia for their new addition and sent her blessings to them.
Even though Tia has been very excited about having a baby, her twin sister Tamera proved to be almost as happy as Tia during a segment of her talk show The Real.
In the show, Tamera confessed that Cairo was six pounds, four ounces and that she was both petite and girly. She added that she intended on going to Tia’s house to visit Cairo that day because she missed her a lot.
While everybody was eager to learn as many details about Cairo as possible, neither Tia nor Cory shared any information on the baby until Tia’s Quick Fix show on June 29.
Before the social media post, neither Cairo’s name nor face had been revealed. However, Tia has since taken the time to reveal that the baby’s full name is Cairo Tiahna Hardrict and even shared the special meaning of the names.
The proud mother explained that Cairo meant 'Victorious' and Tiahna, apart from having her name in it, meant 'the follower of Christ,’ and is also the name of one of the first African princesses.
Finally, Tia admitted that she and Cory chose Cairo because her husband saw the letters A, I, and O while traveling on a plane, so the couple decided that the baby’s name should have those letters.
