Son of legendary singer found dead in apparent suicide
Craig Raymond Turner, Tina Turner's oldest son, has passed away at the age of 59. It has recently been revealed that he committed suicide with a firearm.
Craig's body was found on Tuesday, June 3, 2018, at his home in Studio City, California. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner revealed that he was pronounced dead at 12:38 p.m.

Craig was born when Tina was only 18 years old. He was the result of her relationship with Raymond Hill, a saxophonist who played alongside Ike Turner in the band Kings of Rhythm

The iconic singer has been living in Europe since 1995 alongside Erwin Bach who she married in 2013 in a civil ceremony on the banks of Lake Zürich, in Küsnacht, northern Switzerland.
Hours before Craig's death, his mother attended Giorgio Armani Privé Haute Couture fashion show, which took place in France, as part of Paris Fashion Week.

Throughout the years, Tina has been quite open regarding the challenges that she had to overcome, not only professionally but personally as well, with Ike being the biggest one.
The saxophonist who adopted Craig following his marriage to Tina in 1962 passed away in 2007, but Tina will always remember the abuse that she suffered at his hands, some of it witnessed by young Craig.

During a 2005 interview with Oprah, Tina revealed that the abuse she suffered took a toll on her son, who she described as a 'very emotional kid' who would 'always look down in sadness.'
