La La Anthony warms hearts in sweet pic while getting close with male co-star
After La La Anthony posted a cozy promotional photo of her and male "Power" co-star, it may be easy to assume that there is something going on between the two of them.
However, Joseph Sikora, who stars as La La's on-screen partner, made sure to clear the air in a previous Page Six interview by saying just how important Carmelo Anthony's estranged wife is to him. While many have speculated their relationship to be romantic, it is actually just a pure platonic friendship.
“This is my sister, and if you talk bad about her, I am going to kill you. I think that we have a mutual admiration for each other."
Their most recent promotional update was to hype their fans up about their latest episode, where the two of them continue to be lovers. When it comes to their more intimate scenes, Joseph says that it is all professional, and nothing is awkward between the two of them.
"We built up a friendly relationship, so then you are put into a mock sexual relationship. Obviously, no private parts are being put near each other. But we really are kissing and touching so it is a luxury to do it with somebody you like and respect. It is far more sterile than people give it credit for. But as long as it does not look that way, I am fine.”
Anthony's fans are eager when it comes to La La's love life, especially since she and estranged husband Carmelo have still not made up. However, it seems to find a new beau, or even reuniting with her old one, is not in La La's priorities as of the moment.
With her busy career and her son's busy schedule, La La has no time for anything else, but to focus on the two of them. She and her estranged husband NBA star Melo Anthony share an 11-year-old son Kiyan, whom she takes good care of despite her busy acting schedule. In an interview with Us Weekly, she clarified her intentions and made sure to set her priorities straight, like any strong independent woman.
"I'm just really, just open to focusing on my son and what he's doing. That’s where I put my energy and my focus right now. With all of my workload and my son’s schedule, I really don’t have time for anything else."
