Back in June, Travolta appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. They discussed his part in the film and how Travolta convinced the choreographer to use the 'four corners dance.'

One thing led to another and Travolta ended up teaching Fallon the most famous dance moves from the legendary film. Read more on Twitter, @amomama_usa.

Travolta had been dancing from a young age and explained that the 'four corners dance' was one of the moves he learned during his childhood.

He asked the choreographer if they include the dance in Grease. After a short demonstration, the dance was worked into the script.

It is the famous dance at the end of the film when the seniors of the fictional Rydell High school celebrate their newfound freedom in the amusement park.

Fans have been copying his moves since the film's release, and Jimmy Fallon even admitted that his nieces were "doing their impressions" during a recent family get-together.

I left your set yesterday @jimmyfallon and I had the biggest smile on my face. Our interview and dancing made me so happy man! Thank you for supporting the movie. It means the world.

Grease celebrated its 40th anniversary this year, which could be the reason why Travolta was feeling sentimental about his part in the film, and why he was so eager to teach Fallon.

Fallon, who is a fan of Travolta's work, thanked him for the lesson and praised the award-winning actor for his acting and dancing skills.

His Grease days will follow him for the rest of his career; Travolta also performed You're The One That I Want back in February when he appeared on Good Morning Brittian.

Fans of Travolta can look forward to his upcoming film projects. He is currently filming The Poison Rose and will portray the role of Carson Philips, an ex-football star turned P.I.

Three other films are in post-production and will be released this year: Moose, Trading Paint, and Speed Kills.

He will also appear as himself in the documentary American Badass: A Michael Madsen Retrospective.
