Rapper Pusha T marries longtime girlfriend in star-studded Virginia wedding

Longtime couple Pusha T and Virginia Williams are now Mr. & Mrs. The couple wed on a date close to their hearts in a beautiful ceremony in Virginia Beach. Details of the affair including the bride’s wedding gowns, the stars that came, the food, their first dance and the thoughtful presents for guests have been revealed.

After dating for 11 years, Pusha T has finally tied the knot with his girlfriend Virginia Williams in a beautiful star-studded ceremony in their hometown of Virginia Beach.

The couple wed on July 21, a date that carries a lot of significance for them. Two years earlier, on the same day at exactly 7:21, the couple got engaged. Pusha, born Terrence LeVarr Thompson, confirmed he would see the number 721 “almost every day in crazy places.”

The wedding venue was an easy choice for the couple who decided their hometown would be the best place to gather their closest family and friends. Over 150 guests flocked to the recently renovated Cavalier Hotel including best man Pharrell Williams, Terrence’s business partner Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian.

Virginia wore two wedding dresses for the occasion, both of which she described to Brides as total opposites.

“One is me coming out my box and the other says ‘Virginia.’”

Virginia stunned in a romantic Marchesa gown during the ceremony. The floral-embroidered creation was sleeveless and had a deep V neckline that flaunted her cleavage. The gown hugged her figure revealing her curves as it fell in mermaid tail fashion beyond her feet.

For the reception, Virginia opted for a minimalist strapless Reem Acra gown with a slight illusion at the bust and sides. Her dress complemented the modern wedding décor. She also wore a flower crown by florist Darling & Daughters.

The wedding’s theme and feel was described by Virginia as “fancy, but not uptight.” They stuck to neutral tones white, nude, grey, smoke and ivory with marble accents. There was greenery crawling up the columns as simple vases held lush white blooms such as roses, ranunculus, and lilies. The bride’s father’s vintage cars were also used to decorate the site’s entrance.

Pusha T’s brother Gene “No Malice” Thornton officiated the intimate ceremony held at the Grand Loggia overlooking the ceremony. A runway style aisle was installed by wedding planner Victoria Holland. As a symbol of their partnership, the couple met in the middle of the runway and said their vows there. Candles, greenery and mirrored gold cubes adorned the lacquered altar for a more romantic feel. Custom handkerchiefs with Pusha and Virginia’s monograms were also provided for guests who felt like tearing up during the wedding.

The couple danced to Curtis Mayfield’s ‘Makings of You’ for their first dance. Making sure guests joined them on the dance floor later, they provided each one with custom Adidas slides. Providing the entertainment was the groom himself, rapper Fabulous and DJ Clark Kent.

The food was equally exceptional as guests were treated to lobster, lamb and short rib with cigars and a Cognac bar to enjoy with it. A dessert room was also unveiled towards the latter part of the evening with a wide array of mini desserts and a lovely wedding cake on golden shelves. And since guests stayed on 'til 1 am, they were also served send off snacks courtesy of Feather & Fin Food Truck.

To cap the celebrations, the newlyweds are reportedly jetting off to Greece for an eight-day honeymoon.
