Even though some people might forget where they came from once they reached stardom, Djimon is completely different as he usually visits Benin. For the most recent trip the actor did to Africa, he took his only child, Kenzo, with him.

The proud father uploaded several photos of himself and his son, who he shares with ex-girlfriend Kimora Lee Simmons, enjoying their father-and-son outing.

In one of the photos, the nine-year-old boy was portrayed wearing a white and blue shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes while his father was right next to him wearing black sweatpants, a white shirt, and flip-flops.

The second photo shared by the actor portrayed him wearing a camo cap, sunglasses, and a white shirt while hugging Kenzo from his back. The boy was wearing a yellow shirt and he seemed to be focused on something in front of him.

That image set clear how similar Kenzo and Djimon are, and people made sure to point that out on the comment section. One of them was Instagram user @ka_rress, who said that the photo was sweet and that they looked like twins.

Kenzo is the third children that Kimora welcomed to the world. The fashion designer has been married two times but has had three long relationships. Her first husband was Russell Simmons.

Together, they have two children, daughters Ming Lee and Aoki Lee. Unfortunately, after being in a romantic relationship for more than a decade, they ended up getting divorced in 2009.

Kimora and Djimon started dating in 2007 and participated in a Benin commitment ceremony in 2008. After having Kenzo, they split in 2012. Finally, she married Tim Leissner in 2013 and welcomed to the world a baby boy named Wolfe Lee in 2015.

Djimon was born in Cotonou, Benin, in April 1964. 12 years later, his family moved to France, where he spent most of his childhood and started his career as a model. Thankfully for him and his family, he managed to move to the U.S. in 1990, where his career skyrocketed.

From that point on, he started taking roles in important movies and TV shows, including Blood Diamond, Never Back Down, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Furious 7. His role in the Marvel film was Korath the Pursuer, and he is set to reprise it in the upcoming Captain Marvel.
