Jennifer Hudson flashes enviable legs in metallic silver dress & boots in recent pic

Jennifer Hudson flaunts sexy legs while channeling a girl boss vibe during a recent show. The singer's career is currently on an upswing as she's set to star in a legendary singer's biopic and the movie adaptation of a hit musical.

Jennifer Hudson is currently on a concert tour and she recently shared a photo from one of her shows where she also flaunts her shapely legs.

“Ok now what’s next…”, the singer wrote in her caption as her photo reveals she’s sitting on a stool in the middle of the stage dressed in a metallic dress and boots looking to her side for cues from her staff. The 36-year-old who also refers to herself as JHud added,

“… here at Jhud productions this ship will always sail on ! Thank u all!”

Jennifer’s ship appears to be sailing on indeed. It was just recently announced that she’ll be starring in the movie adaptation of the hit musical ‘Cats.’ The ‘American Idol’ alum will be joined by no other than Taylor Swift in the film directed by Tom Hooper who also directed the movie adaptation of ‘Les Miserables’ in 2012. Filming will reportedly commence later this year in the U.K.

Confirming her participation in the project, Jennifer tweeted a video of a kitten being revealed from inside a bag and wrote,

“Well, I guess the CATS out of the bag!”

Earlier this year, the actress also signed on to portray Aretha Franklin in the legendary singer’s untitled biopic to be produced by Scott Bernstein and music producer Harvey Mason. Mason was responsible for the soundtracks of ‘Sing’ and ‘Pitch Perfect 2.’

According to Clive Davis who unveiled Jennifer’s casting in the film during his pre-Grammy party, Ms. Franklin personally chose Jennifer to portray her. This comes as no surprise since the singer has an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress under her belt for the film “Dreamgirls.”

While Jennifer’s career is at an upswing, her battle with her ex for her son’s custody continues to spiral. In February, it was reported the singer and her ex-fiance David Otunga were being barred from having their son David Jr.’s child therapist testify in court. The eight-year-old’s lawyer filed papers to prevent the medical professional from speaking in court to legally protect the boy and allow him to talk freely to his therapist without worrying about his parents finding out.

David and Jennifer have been battling over their son’s custody ever since they split in November 2017. The WWE star was granted primary custody of David Jr. after reaching a temporary agreement that same month. The couple was together for 10 years prior to their split. Jennifer accused David of domestic abuse which the wrestler denied.
