Body of missing 13-year-old has been found
Lucy McHugh, a 13-year-old that was reported missing, was found dead in woodland near Southampton Sports Center by a member of the public.
McHugh's body was found on Friday morning, July 27, 2018, at around 7:45 a.m. The girl had left home on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. but failed to return, after which her mother, Stacey White, called the police.
The Hampshire Police took to their Twitter page on Thursday to ask the community for help finding the person responsible for McHugh's tragic death.
Although nothing has been confirmed yet, The Sun claims that a 24-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of murder and sexual activity with the minor.

Det. Supt. Paul Barton, from the Hampshire Police, said that McHugh's death was a tragic incident and that the thoughts of everyone in the force went to the victim's family and friends.
At the time of the teen's disappearance, White used her Facebook account to post an appeal for help along with a description of her daughter, as well as other details
It said that McHugh had left the house wearing blue jeans, a black jacket with white sleeves and a gray or green top, plus an easily identifiable blue digital watch.
Upon learning that her daughter had been found, White went back on Facebook to deliver the sad and terrible news, as well as share a GoFundMe page created to help cover the costs of her daughter's funeral.
The brothers, #JonathonAdamson, 21, and #BenitoMarquez, 16, were charged on Monday just days after the body of 16 yr old #BenjaminEastman was found in a shallow grave. Horrible, evil murder. 😢https://t.co/wvvXSB2Cxn— Mary Pat Ryan (@MaryPatRyan) July 5, 2018
