Beyoncé subtly addresses pregnancy rumors in 'flawless' new video
After weeks of speculation about a fourth Carter baby coming on the way, Beyoncé finally addressed the rumors and put them to rest with just one subtly gesture on stage.
The “On the Run II” tour took Beyoncé and her husband, Jay Z, around Europe for the last month. And while most people were happy about watching their favorite artists live and slaying, as usual, other fans made their job to try and prove that Queen B was expecting her fourth child.
The speculation started among the Beehive started because of their queen’s stage outfits, which included many jackets and high waisted pants that cover up her stomach. Also, the fact that she seemed to be sporting a baby bump in some videos recorded by fans didn’t help her case.
Fans have been debating whether or not Beyoncé was pregnant, bloated or if she just earned a few pounds for weeks. And now the Queen herself has put the rumors to rest (for now) while singing her hit song “Flawless” on the On The Run II tour stop in Cleveland, Ohio on July 25.
The Shade Room shared a clip from the concert that shows the 36-years-old mother of three wearing a tight black bodysuit that enhanced her tiny waist and put her toned legs on display as she said to the crowd “You all know that your flaws make you beautiful, right?”. She then proceeded to sing the first lines of the song, lightly touching her belly as she sang “I woke up like this…Flawless.”
Even with her tight costume, it was noticeable that Beyoncé’s abdomen is not entirely flat as it used to be. But considering that she gave birth to twins last year and that she has been traveling around Europe with her family and enjoying the little food pleasures of the continent, is probably normal that she’s sporting a bit more weight than usual.
But some of her hardcore fans are not buying the act. Pointing out that the singer is trying to divert the attention from her belly because she wants to make a surprise announcement her way, while others are stating she never said she wasn’t pregnant and her gesture might be a confirmation instead of a negation.
Either way, the Carters are known for being extremely private when it comes to their family. In fact, it was only a few days ago that Beyoncé finally shared a photo of her 1-year-old twins, Sir and Rumi, with the world.
In the adorable pic posted to her official website, the “Love on Top” singer is holding the babies on her lap, with little Rumi giggling at something out of frame while her brother looks more serious looking down to the floor.
The “On The Run II” tour still has several shows left, and it will take the Carters around the country until the final show in Seattle on October 4.
