Burke joins her fellow Dancing With The Stars alum, Witney Carson, in the new series. Carson has been paired with the 9-year-old Kamri Peterson.
She said on Instagram that her 'heart is bursting' and she cannot wait to see what Peterson is capable of. Their dance partners will be announced soon.
Young celebrities who have the minimal dancing experience will be teamed with professional junior dancers, and mentors like Burke and Carson are assigned to guide to pairs.
Other mentors who will be joining the show include Lindsay Arnold, Jenna Johnson, Sasha Farber, and South African born Keo Motsepe.
The judges have already been chosen, and the panel consists of pro-dancer Val Chmerkovskiy; figure skater and Olympic medalist Adam Rippon, as well as choreographer Mandy Moore.
Chmerkovskiy won the mirror ball trophy twice already while Moore worked on the choreography of the box office hit, La La Land.
Burke recently became engaged to singer and actor Matthew Lawrence. The couple had been dating since 2017 and Lawrence proposed on Burke's 34th birthday.
