In the post, Tia was portrayed wearing a dark blue top while posing for the camera. The highlight of the pic, however, was her curly dark hair and her makeup-free face that set clear she is not afraid of showing her natural self.

For the caption, she wrote “Yasss Hair yassss,” next to a hands-up emoji. As soon as the actress uploaded that picture, her fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

One of them was Instagram user @deshaun_cleveland, who pointed out that Tia was the prettiest when she was “chillin [sic] with no makeup on.”

Embracing her natural-self

While several people might have got surprised when Tia uploaded that photo, the 40-year-old actress has been sharing a body-positive message on her social media accounts ever since she gave birth to her daughter Cairo Tiahna.

She has been posting images of herself taking care of her two children wearing clothes that women would normally put on at home, with little-to-no makeup on, and without styling her hair that much.

In one of her posts, she pointed out that she wanted to shine a light on how society creates false expectations after a woman gives birth and how they should look like.

“Ladies, it’s okay that our bodies are not PERFECT after our babies are born. Give your self time. Go at your own pace. Don’t allow people to put a time limit on YOUR body. You’ve just accomplished a miracle! #Love yourself, love your new body, embrace it. It you want to make changes than that’s your desire and no one else’s [sic],” said Tia.

The actress is married to Cory Hardrict since 2008. Together, they have had two children: seven-year-old Cree and three-month-old Cairo.
