Teyana Taylor's husband Iman Shumpert comes to her defense after singer Jeremih throws shade
Teyana Taylor went off at Jeremih, after announcing that she quit his tour, saying the singer was extremely unprofessional.
While Jeremih has a fair share of fans, Teyana Taylor is an up and coming star whose name is constantly talked about nowadays. After just releasing an album, fans are constantly interested in her dealings and so when she announced she was going on tour with the male singer, fans purchased their tickets.
However, it seems things have taken a sour turn after she took to Twitter to express her disappointment at Jeremih. According to her, she is being extremely mistreated on tour and so she will no longer continue being a part of the "Later That Night Tour". Shumpert even adds that if she did end up staying, she might "knock him out".The artist then proceeds to apologize to her fans who got tickets to see her, and ensures that they will be refunded for it.
Clearly still irritated with how everything turned out, she called out Jeremih out front and called him a bunch of names. She shares what really goes on in their shows, which is that 80% of those who watch actually come to see Teyana and leave after her set. She claims to be working hard on every city and every night, except her headliner has done nothing this tour but act like a diva.
After a few hours, Jeremi issued a response at the "GOOD Music" songstress, and it fueled the fire as it angered her husband Iman Shumpert.
While he did not mention the Shumperts at all, he used her "Keep The Same Energy" abbreviation after posting a video of Lil Duval's single "Smile" wherein he sings "I'm living my best life. I ain't going back and forth with you [expletives]".
Taylor's husband was disappointed at the reply, saying: "If this is a threat you send it my way.".
Her dropping out from his tour has been a good thing for her fans, as she announced that she was going on her own "Keep The Same Energy" instead. While she was the one who dropped out of the show, Jeremih ended up being the one having to leave as Teyana continues on with the rest of their shows.
Now that it's pretty clear that Iman and Teyana share an extremely strong bond, and that she has a pretty solid fan base, it comes with no surprise that they defend each other whenever needed, and if Jeremih thought they would back out from a fight, he was completely wrong.
